Elections 1 May 2008On Thursday 1 May, elections took place for the Mayor of London and Greater London Assembly. On the same day, local elections also took place in all local councils in Wales, and some councils in England. On 24 March, we launched our awareness campaigns covering the local elections and a joint campaign with London Elects for the Greater London Authority election.
